Craftodose Tie Dye Workshop - 8/23/26
Enjoy a dose of crafting and community connection on your Sunday afternoon!
Come create art and meet people at this chill hangout. This Craftodose will have tie-dye stations, offered by a Trailweavers community member! Please be on time if you are participating in tie-dye, and see materials to bring below.
Venue: For the first time, we are hosting Craftodose at UC Gill Tract Community Farm! Feel free to bring a bag or bucket: Their pay-what-you-can organic farm stand is open 2-5, and they offer free compost and mulch for your home garden. https://www.gilltractfarm.org
Parking is tricky here. See full details below.
Suggested donation: $10–30, NOTAFLOF. We operate on a gift economy model. $10 covers tie-dye materials and racking. Instructional support will be available, but if you already know what you're doing, go nuts! Please consider giving a separate donation to the farm as well.

What to bring:
- A project to dye. Shirts, pants, socks, hats, tote bags, etc. 100% cotton, silk, wool, linen, bamboo, or rayon works best. Wash it first, and do not use fabric softener.
- Dishwashing gloves or exam gloves. Some will be available.
- Wear a smock or old T-shirt that you wouldn’t mind getting some dye on.
- Extra ice. We will have a cooler-full, but it's hard to judge how much we will need. If you can empty out your ice bin and bring it, that would be appreciated.
- Sun protection and layers. We will try to set up in the shade. It may be sunny or very windy.
- A reusable water bottle, and snacks to share.
- Grocery bag(s) for the farm stand; and bucket/container for free compost or mulch.

Directions and parking:
Gill Tract Farm’s on-site parking is limited. You can help out by biking, using public transit, and carpooling. Join our Carpool Signal thread! Directions are on the farm website.
To park on-site, drive through the gate (from either San Pablo Ave. or Jackson St.) and turn into the open gate with the sign: “Trailweavers Craftodose event parking”. Drive and park only on the mulched area. Do not block the garage door. We will have a parking coordinator directing you between 1:30-2:00.
If this area fills up, please park on the street or in the parking lot for Sprouts Farmers Market.
Once parked, head past the building and the farm stand. Look at the edge of the farmed land for the Icosahedron, the large wooden structure. Our tables will be set up there.
